‘We Are Family’: Academic success for mother and daughter graduating from Swansea University together

The phrase ‘keeping it within the family’ has never rung so true as it has this year at Swansea University and in the College of Arts and Humanities. In July 2017 mother and daughter, Suzanne and Melissa Isaacs, both graduated from the college on the same day.

Melissa graduated from our Applied Linguistics Department with a 2:1 in English Language and TESOL, while her mother graduated with a degree in Humanities from DACE.
